Edgewater’s Winter Bryn Mawrkets to Kick off Holiday Season

Come shop and warm up on Bryn Mawr Avenue! The Edgewater Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the Winter Bryn Mawrkets.

This pop-up style mawrket will bring more businesses to Bryn Mawr’s historic business district through the holiday season and into the new year. You’ll find vendors, makers and artists inside two storefronts along Bryn Mawr Avenue. There will be a wide variety of small business owners selling everything from self-care products and apparel, to books and art. You’ll be able to check several people off your gift list!

Multiple artists will also be participating in the mawrket in a variety of different ways. There will be artists popping up to sell their work, while others stick around for longer, using storefront space as a studio. In November, you’ll also find artists brightening up the corridor with art installations on multiple storefront windows.

The mawrket will take place at 1052 W. Bryn Mawr Ave and 1040 W. Bryn Mawr on Fridays from 3-7pm and Saturday and Sundays from 1-5pm starting the weekend of Nov. 18 through Feb. 12, 2023.

Throughout the Mawrket months, the Chamber will be hosting a number of different programs like national days of celebration, hands-on demonstrations and activities for kids such as face painting, balloon artists and book readings. We’ll also be inviting some Edgewater businesses to pop-up and gain more visibility with the community!

The Winter Bryn Mawrkets will turn Bryn Mawr Avenue into a destination spot for the community to celebrate the holidays, see one-of-a-kind art installations and purchase art from local artists!
