Winter Bryn Mawrkets & Gallery

Edgewater’s Winter Bryn Mawrkets & Gallery

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Winter Bryn Mawrkets & Gallery a success! This pop-up style mawrket brought more businesses to Bryn Mawr’s historic business district through the holiday season and into the new year. Vendors, makers and artists gathered inside two storefronts along Bryn Mawr Avenue, 1040 & 1052 W. Bryn Mawr Ave.

Thank you to all of the artists who participated in the mawrket in a variety of different ways from selling their work at the Gallery to helping the Chamber add some color to the Bryn Mawr Historic District by painting storefront windows. Also, a huge thanks to the vendors and makers who joined us every weekend to share their work.

Finally, thank you to the Edgewater community for visiting the market and Gallery and supporting small businesses. The Winter Bryn Mawrkets & Gallery turned Bryn Mawr Avenue into a destination spot to celebrate the holidays, see one-of-a-kind art installations and purchase art from local artists!

The Winter Bryn Marwkets is made possible through a Chicago Department of Business Affairs and Consumer Protection (BACP) Small Business Storefront Activation Program grant. All of the participating small businesses are Chicago businesses who have been negatively impacted by the pandemic.
