This four-week course is designed to inform you about gang issues in the 19th and 20th police districts. Topics addressed: gang factions, colors, geography, graffiti, recruitment and court involvement.
Must be at least 21 years old to be admitted. Driver’s license or state ID required. Attendance is required at each of the four classes.
Presented by: Anita Alvarez, Cook County State’s Attorney’s, Community Justice Center in conjunction with the Chicago Police Department.

We’ll first cover the basics (hashtags, bit.ly, sponsored tweets, etc.) and then go beyond those to discuss strategy and implementation, and review real world examples of what works and what doesn’t. Attendees will have the added opportunity to receive personal instruction unique to their individual needs.
